In March 2018 we were overwhelmed to get the opportunity to start our Permaculture garden in Dahab (Egypt). 1000 square meters of sandy empty land, waiting to be green.
We are growing our own organic vegetables and fruits in the South Sinai desert climate. The harsh condition of the enviroment with almost no rainfall, hot climate, a lot of wind and next to the sea, got us challenged.
This climate shows us how important Permaculture Principles are. Saving water, observing endemic nature and how to use local resources like seaweed, palm leaves or clay from the desert are just a few examples.
We are following bio-dynamic principles to the highest level possible.
A few projects had been planned and realised. Have a look into our Garden Projects.
